Hopefully it’s Kongo.

Credit to Boxxer for giving what they said they would to Marku.

He’d be the highest profile Albanian pro to have a home fight. Why not?

They keep saying he’s a big star over there. I guess we’ll find out how big. It’s something he’s said a few times he’s wanted to do.

Homecoming a little much though. Bet it’s “never been stopped” Seb Formella.

marku's a fun fighter but can be a bit 'lol at him' at times

i remember him shaking his head and screaming 'NOTHING!' at charlton when charlton was landing some shots, then about a minute later he was dropped on his arse

Not sold on Marku, far from it, but good for him to get a bill topper in his own country after 12 fights.

Not happy with this guy and wouldn’t be happy with Formella.
Guy has been talking for seemingly years and his best win is against an unknown Italian and pretty narrow at that.

The opponent is number 251 in the world on boxrec and at the weight below.

Piss poor.

Anyone from top 15 in UK would have been miles better.

It’s a homecoming for a reason.

Nice and easy straightforward win for Marku.

This is pisssss. why not Meriton Karaxha, make it an albanian tear up... or indongo for a bit of name recognition. or liam taylor for some sky sports brit apeal.

But some mexican no-ones heard of that gets knocked out when he steps up to area levle... why? its a sky headliner surely theres a bit more cash in the pot than that kind of opponent suggest.

Thats got to be a wind up... WBC dont even have a silver welterweight champ listed on there rankings. so why is it for an interim silver? why not for a vacant silver?

Only good news is Kongo is international silver, so mabey WBC will call Kongo vs Marku for the vacant WBC silver title after this, a fun fight that i would quite like to see.

I would have been happy enough with Formella as I had an inkling the opponent would have been this (Parra) kind of standard.
