I think they definitely will, they are using Canelo to build brand, but ultimately DAZN's boxing model seems doomed to fail.

I think this fight may well be a dud, this is clearly GGG's retirement fight - the way he's talking is like winning is a bonus, rather than what he's shooting for.

It may well be a fairly meek performance, with him doing enough to keep it respectable whilst losing clearly.

I just hope he doesn't get hurt in there.

They are smart prize fighters. At the end of the day they take a lot of heavy punches unlike the other athletes from other sports who probably make more money.

It would be Justice is what it would be if GGG won the 3rd fight. Hell I say even if Canelo should win 117-111 they oughta give the decision to Golovkin because he deserved the win by that margin or near it in both of the first 2 fights.

I don't know if its the last fight on DAZN for GGG but if he'll get a beating from Canelo, then G should retire and enjoy his life.

Yeah, it seems highly unlikely.

Having said that, nobody saw Marquez sparking Pacquaio at - Manny had a hell of a chin on him, and Marquez was never noted as a murderous puncher.

I wonder what the odds are that Canelo retires after GGG?
If he struggles to beat a 40yr GGG, it will be bad for him, and he'll run from the Bivol rematch, which also will be a bad look. He won't beat (or fight) Benavides, Andrade, so maybe Charlo or Munguia next? I think Morell Jr also beats him.

I think Canelo's not done yet.

He is only 32, I think he will have another 3-4 fights before he calls it a day.

It really is.

He has a huge jaw and neck, and his shoulder girdle is also massive, he has the ideal build to absorb punches well.

Since then he was with far more bigger punchers and better boxers than Jose Cotto. I think its very hard to even drop Canelo at 168.

I think not even a prime Froch or Kessler could hurt badly this version of Canelo.

yeah its at min 40:12 round 10 where G lands a text book clean right hand on Canelo. Canelo was hurt but he kept his composure and defensive skills very good. G tried to capitalized but with no effect.

What I've noticed on this rematch that it was so grueling. So much technique, feints and speed involved. Some people say that G was slow but c'mon look at those whipping powerful jabs and at those counters. G was not a slow fighter by any means. At that elite level you can't be slow.

Watching this rematch I can understand why Canelo vacated his mw wbc belt and avoided GGG back in the days.
