15 Rounds Heavyweight Bout
Would Ingo Bingo overwhelm Quarry behind his pawing jabs and right hands to either decision, stopping or knocking him out in the late rounds or would Quarry outwork Ingo behind his counter body punches, right hands and left hooks to either decision or stop him late? What do you guys think and who do you got?
Heavyweights: Ingemar Johansson vs. Jerry Quarry

Johansson would outbox Quarry.

This fight could go either way. Johanson was a heavy hitter.
I'd lean toward Quarry but either winning would not shock me

Re: Heavyweights: Ingemar Johansson vs. Jerry Quarry
Johansson had the more power of the two. Quarry the better chin and better boxing skills.
Quarry fights often went like this: He came out strong, and occasionally stopped his opponent. More often than not, Johannson would have survived the onslaught.
Then Quarry goes into punching bag mode in the middle rounds. This is there the great fighters finished him off. More often than not, Quarry would have survived against Johannson.
Then in the later rounds, Quarry gets a second win and fights well.
A likely scenario would have been Quarry on points.

I say Quarry by points as well, close unanimously.
