1st Golovkin. 116-112-ish.

2nd Draw.

3rd Canelo. 117-111-ish. Yet this fight is much less relevant.

Golovkin deserves more credit for this rivalry.

First: 116 - 112 Golovkin
Golovkin pressured for a whole fight. Canelo looked good fighting backwards, showed brilliant defense, but Golovkin simply outboxed him for a 12 rounds. He was better boxer and stronger man.

Second: 115 - 113 Alvarez
Canelo fixed mistakes from first fight. He was the one who came forward for almost whole fight. This time, he was bully, Golovkin does not like fighting backwards. Canelo was eating that jab all night long, but it was not enough. I saw that fight 4 times and i do not understand how anybody scored it for GGG. I can understand draw here.

Third: 117 - 111 Alvarez
Golovkin was past his prime and 40 years old and it was visible. Still, fight was far from boring to me.

Overall, i love this trilogy. Only thing that bothers me, Golovkin was robbed of win in first fight. First two fights were art of boxing :box: :box: :box: . What is more important, those 2 fought each other in their primes. Mayweather and Pacqiao did not fought in their primes. Kovalev and Stevenson did not fought, Lomachenko and Davis did not fought, WIlder and Joshua did not fought and maaaybe after years and years we will get Spence vs Crawford.

GGG Canelo fights reminds me why is boxing so much better sport than mma. NO BOXING NO LIFE :box: :box: :box:

First: I had Golovkin winning a close fight.

Second: I had Golovkin winning clearly by quite a few rounds.

Third: Canelo by wide margin.

Similar scorecards to this but don't remember them myself. Probably would have given Canelo an extra round in 2&3:

There’s a reason their first fight didn’t take place before 2017..

They were first linked to each other in a more serious way around the end of 2015/2016..
yet they fought September 17..

Then a year later the 2nd fight.

Then 4 years on a 3rd.

That’s 5 years for the trilogy. Not bad though.

I remember at the time he fought Cotto in november 2015, Golovkin kept asking for a fight. Two years are long time, but we still had 2 fights with both in their primes IMO. And dont forget, Oscrack de la Hoya was promoting Alvarez at that time. That bastard tried to sell Gary Osullivan, Tureano Johnson and Jason Quigley as Canelo oponents. Glad Canelo cut ties with him.

We are waiting for Spence - Crawford 4 years now if im correct?

I think it was about

1-ggg 116-112

2- ggg 115-114

3- canelo 116-114

All these could wiggle significantly due to many close rounds in the first 2 and many nothing rounds on the third.

But GGG first, canelo 3rd is certain for me.

I laugh when complete amateurs score fights like professional judges at ringside.
If Matrix was here…
He’d laugh too..

GGG won the first and probably won or drew at worst the second

The third? Oh come on He’s like 137 year old Joe z Louis sketch in Coming to America

I actually thought GGG won the 2nd more clearly than the first, he was hitting canelo with that jab all night long.

I had GGG winning the 2nd more wider than the first bout..

So I was even more gutted for him that they actually gave that to Golovkin.

From 3 fights.. there was 9 official scorecards..

Only one scorecard of those 9 favoured GGG.

It’s madness.
