On Chris Algieri's kick-boxing record it shows one fight, a loss in 2004 however Algieri states he was unbeaten in 20 as a kickboxer and its reported elsewhere he was unbeaten as a kick-boxer. I can only find reference to that alleged loss on one MMA site whereas other MMA sites don't list it at all. Where did that loss to Barra in 2004 come from for his boxrec record to be updated, I'm just curious as I can't find any other references to it online?

chris says he was unbeaten as a kickboxer, despite being ko'd in the fight below. why trust his word? amateur records are inflated in the media all the time btw, and often they just all run with what one outlet has said
on the other hand to your point, where's the proof of the 20-0 (which we know is false anyway) ? he got a fight by fight record online?
