A bit of banter and a laugh please …
I have just bought out the BBBofC and renamed it the Spuds Boxing Board Of control …
I have just got off the phone to you and informed you that Robert Smith has taken a step down and is the cleaner and you have accepted his position….
Time to get a bit more serious
What immediate changes will you make?
What fights would you immediately sanction?
Over to you!!!

3 judges for every bout if it's a TV show
Younger referees and a bit more diversity in the board. Almost an old white men club atm.

Drug Agencies to join forces & to make it affordable for small hall show promoters to use them.
To lobby the government to regulate boxing correctly.
To ensure boxers ARE BANNED who sneak out of disciplinary action by handing in their licenses.
To lobby other countries boxing boards to respect
and uphold the disciplinary action taken against a boxer so he cannot sneak a foreign boxing license.
hold an amnesty for boxers to admit drug taking offences and inform the board the facilitators so they can be disciplined…
After the amnesty anyone caught given LIFE BANS

Agree with both. Perhaps hold judges to account by allowing public scoring through an app for televised events and investigate huge disparity in scoring with the public and judges. Demote judges and refs if needed and promote more with a fresh perspective.
I'd stop sanctioning top 20 guys against guys outside the top 100. Maybe come up with some formula to stop total mismatches beyond the early stages in their career.
Stop promoters from choosing refs and judges for an event.
Use a formulaic ranking system (such as Boxrec) and sanction fights based on a highest available basis, move down the rankings rather than whoever promoters want to fight for the belt which seems to happen a lot now.
1 year minimum ban for doping if it was some sort of mistake, 2 years minimum for first time offence proven to be on purpose but 4 years for more serious offences (Jarrell Miller scenarios) and lifetime ban for second offence if proven to be on purpose.
Make the decision-making and overall running and control of the organisation more transparent and not a closed book of old mates like the BBBofC looks like.
Appoint the board from Boxrec forum members.

Stop officials/referees staying in the same hotel as the fighters/ promoting company. Anyone found to be staying in the same hotel or visit outside of weigh ins etc to be sacked.
