Yeah. Was a weird show. I got a photo with George Groves before the main fights started and met Andy Murray too. Me and my mates still reminisce about Angel singing before the main event and getting boo’d out of there.

Mental night, I got completely hammered and barely remember anything beyond about half seven! The only thing I do remember was chanting ‘you fat bastard’ as Chisora entered the ring.

The first memory I have of this fight was that I was BANNED from the show for apparently my conduct towards Mr W arren & staff on the forums.

The second memory was on the night of Davids altercation with Chisora, I was up in Yorkshire having what I thought was a bit of peace from David. I remember receiving a call from a highly agitated Haye for not phoning him.

I asked David what his problem was and he said “do you not watch the news, I suggest you get off the phone and ring me back when you have”

I turned the tv on and had heart failure when I saw everything that had gone on. I remember phoning back the next day, David was already back at his house having managing to get a flight back before he was prevented from doing so.

I didn’t go to the fight and if I was honest I was gutted.

Without doubt one of David Haye’s best victories.

I agree, and probably one of the best performances at HW in the whole (mostly barren) decade.

I agree, and probably one of the best performances at HW in the whole (mostly barren) decade.

Haye was always up against it at heavyweight, he wasn't a naturally huge guy, and packed on a lot of muscle to be competitive. However he could generate enormous power, the issue was, he wasn't really built to take punches from the really big boys, he didn't have the thick neck and massive skull of a genuine heavyweight - so he always had to avoid being hit square.
