On a Friday night of November 12, 1982 at the Orange Bowl in Miami, FL, undefeated WBA World Jr. Welterweight Champion, Aaron Pryor of Cincinnati, OH, stopped the legendary great champion Alexis Arguello of Nicaragua in 14 fast paced terrific and unforgettable rounds.
In probably the best fight of the 80s decade, it was marred by a controversial incident when Pryor's trainer, Panama Ray Lewis, asked one of the cornermen to give him the black bottle, the one with the mix.
