I seem to be the minority with this. I think the ref is right to DQ Montana.
Pretty obvious that ML didn’t want to continue anyways. “I can’t see shit” to the doctor when he quite clearly can as the cut and flow of blood where to the side of the eye.
Spark landed like an acrobat but if there’s a camera man or table set up there it’s a different story and could cause injury. Serious injury tbh.
To take just 1 point off for that would be like giving a stern verbal warning to Roy Keane after his tackle on Erling Haaland’s dad.
Wonder if Love will take a rematch. He got dropped pretty heavily and seemed to struggle with Spark’s size and power.
