Fury vs Lambert.

Post by wrighty »

Just announced that Tommy Fury will fight Rolly Lambert tonight. I can't see this ending well. Big step up. If Fury wins then kudos.

When you take into account Fury has had only 8 pro fights it’s difficult to criticise an opponent with a 15-1 record or whatever it is.

At the sametime its hard to get excited about the opponents record shall we be kind and say full of “unknowns”.

Surely this is the final straw for Fury to be relegated to being a 'youtube boxer'?

I remember when the Tommy Vs Jake Paul shit started a kid at work was talking about it and i said no chance. Fury would batter him, in the gyms since a child, hes is a real boxer, blahblahblah.
Now im not so sure.... :o

Lawrence “100%” Okolie bigging up the Fury ‘fight’
The DAZN production is shite and the commentators are appalling.

The main commentator (no clue who he is) looks and sounds like Rick from The Young Ones

Clearly not a fight
The pair of them floating around and feinting like Charlie Chaplin in City Lights.

Jake Paul ragging on Fury is funny

Just watched the fiasco on U tube ,, with Jake Paul -- Fury rubbish John being his usual self threatening anyone and everyone , what an embarressment .

But one thing i picked up on in 2 rubbish interviews he said i get my pension on monday , so question WHAT PENSION ,, whats the age for a pension in England i gather its an old age pension is'nt he just in his late 50's , thought it was a lot higher ,, its 67 in Australia ,,, could'nt be a disability pension , he keeps telling the world he's the fittest under 60 in the world

I feel bad for slating him but Tommy doesn't have it. I've watched him live and wasnt impressed. He's already a celebrity with money chasing a fake boxer. You need to question his desire. Chris Eubank Sr used to run to the Bronx to learn how to box, many stuck cases of guys living in the gym. He should be chasing area champions etc but he's not. There is nothing stopping him getting his head down and going to the Ingles for a few months or even America and gettimg quality sparring. The reason he isn't is because he wants to be a celebrity, not a boxer and he doesn't need to the money. He's conning the public but no one is buying it.

He also said he’s never trained a day in his life and then about twenty seconds later said he trains every day. Word salad…

Are you implying one of the Furys is lying?! There isn’t a man born from his mother than can get away with saying that!
