I have openly supported Tony Sims and have been criticised for it.

I am not saying Tony is a saint, far from it.

However, what I am not budging on is my own personal experiences of Tony Sims. I have known Tony for 20 years, I met him on a number of occasions, especially when I was working for Mick Hennessy. Tony always said hello and treated me well and with respect.

I think the very first time I met Tony was at a Dinner show the week before Lennox Lewis fought Francois Botha. I believe Tony Sims and Tony Burns organised the show. I was invited to the show by Lennox’s promoter Panos Eliades.

Forum, I will not be dictated to and mocked on who I respect/like especially when that person has always treated me with respect and included me as part of the group.

I especially wont be dictated/mocked by people who continue to have strong views on all matters concerning boxing and Boxing personalities but yet hide behind a screen name yet are too cowardly to say who they are. I regard some of those
People as spineless ****s.

For 20+ years everyone in boxing knows me as Spud, and I have voiced strong opinions and indeed some people have disagreed with those opinions and said as such when they have approached me.
