I'm trying to do lots of online learning for work, listen to TalkSport, think of locations for the film I want to make, drink tea, talk to clients and post on here. Maybe I should concentrate.

Eubank beating Benn.
Re: Brits Who Announced Their Arrival With a Statement Win.
Honeyghan beating Mittee. Both men were on the verge of world level. It seemed like a 50-50 going in. But Lloyd dominated.
Sibson's KO of Minter.

Groves beating DeGale was a big statement win for him at that stage of his career.
Re: Brits Who Announced Their Arrival With a Statement Win.
Yes, but he did at least arrive.

Re: Brits Who Announced Their Arrival With a Statement Win.
Absolutely. It was the perfect combination of his silky skills at their best and having nothing to lose. The sad thing is, some people don't give him any credit for it and prefer the usual Duran biased nonsense about the Hands of Stone not training or being interested.
Re: Brits Who Announced Their Arrival With a Statement Win.
Domestically Lee Selby knocking out Stephen Smith who was a massive favorite with the bookies
Re: Brits Who Announced Their Arrival With a Statement Win.
I always think of Michael Watson's win over the American Don Lee as his breakthrough fight (of course most will say it was him beating Nigel Benn) but he made a lot of boxing fans sit up and take notice after that result.
Richie Woodhall was masterful when annexing the European title against Italy's Silvio Branco.
Great call earlier mentioning Sibbo's demolition of Minter. No one destroyed Minter than conclusively, not even the Marvelous one !

Yep, I thought Selby would handle Warrington easily...how wrong !
Josh went on a great run thereafter, but those pesky Mexican hard cases put a couple of spanners in the works![[icon_e_confused.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif)
