Tank's highest weight was 139 1/2 lbs vs Mario Barros. He weighed 125 lbs in his pro debut.

Davis is 5'5 and has a 67 1/2 inch reach.

in comparison : Sebastian Fundora consistently weighs 153 1/2 lbs, stands at 6'5 1/2 and has an 80 inch reach.

LOL, this would be the best "Tale Of The Tape" EVER!!!

If he ever fights at 147 it'll only be once they find a guy that's barely ranked in the Top 10 who happens to pick up a belt some sorta way.

My critique of him, is that he's an entertaining slugger, big puncher, fairly open defensively, being coddled by his management, and now HAS been coddled to the point that whenever they stop looking out for little Baby Boy Tank, and put him in tough, he won't be able to handle it.

He maybe could've handled it, but at this point he won't know what a tough fight is like. They've made sure to avoid 'em for him all through his career.

He'll stay on top as long as he's protected. As soon as he's scheduled to fight Haney, Teofimo, Shakur Stevenson or any bigger name in his weight range. He's f*cked.

I figure Ryan Garcia because he's softest and Vasyl Lomachenko because he's oldest will be the first 2 names he goes after, and both of those are 50/50 fights to me.

Tank is a 130 that can lack a bit of disaplin so has spent time at 135. He cherry picked a fake belt at 140.

Can’t see tank having lasting 140 success and defiantly not 147/154. Mabey a Devine cherry pick if it presents itself but guys like boots and Spence at 147 and charlo at 154 are giants compared to him.

Tank looked like the smaller man sparing shak a few years ago when shack was still a 126…

My critique is that he thinks he's a much bigger star than he is

At this point I agree with most of that.
Differ on he'll only fight once at 147, could be, but that's where the money has been for some time and eventually most of them go in that direction.

He's really really short: 5'5"! He has no frame to spread weight onto. If he moved up to Welter or even worse Jr. Middle he'd be so bulky he's slow down and have cardio issues.

Well, he may well stay at 147 for a while, but his winning record won't hang around for more than 3 fights as a Welterweight, and I honestly don't think they can find a guy soft enough for him to win a belt at 154.

It's hard to judge a guy so carefully managed, and there has to be a reason for it.
He is entertaining in the ring, and a total arse out of it.
A repeated wife beater, who is foolish about his spending and the company he keeps, it would surprise no one if he ended up doing a stint in jail.

davis has all the raw talent in the world, speed, power, reflexes.... can bang you upstairs or down. seems to take a shot at least decently

but he's been getting lazier in the ring and giving rounds away, that is the biggest flaw ive noticed. what might be his downfall is if he loses the discipline to make a reasonable weight, then starts running into much bigger guys who work much harder

One of the first things that was pointed out to me about the early Gervonta Davis was his defence.
We see a bit of it but his overall style isn't based off of it today.
