Thanks for posting this. It was kind of interesting. He seemed to have a lot of respect for Joe Louis, which I had heard before. Would be nice to know exactly when this took place; they didn't even have the site for Liston-Clay determined.

There was an old joke about Louis and Liston: When Louis sat on the can, he could tell you how cold the water was but Liston could tell you how deep it was !

I don't think I've have ever seen Sonny Liston so "Mellow" before.
( I even thought the vid-cap there was of someone else )
looked like he was on the verge of drifting into "Dreamland".
usually he seemed really "uptight" when he was being interviewed.
the rumours were that around this time, Liston was on "The dope""
( if you know what I mean, and I think you do )
