Aaron Pryor, Marvin Hagler
If Pryor and Hagler had managed to make the Olympic team, particulary Pryor, could they have won gold medals?
Re: Aaron Pryor, Marvin Hagler
Many people believe Hagler to have one of the most durable chins in boxing history. I believe he can do it

Re: Aaron Pryor, Marvin Hagler
Based on Pryor's amateur record, I could picture him winning the gold medal at the 1976 Olympics if he had fought in that tournament.
Pryor did win many international amateur bouts against top rated fighters from the communist bloc. He would have made the 1976 US Olympic team except that he lost to Howard Davis, who dominated at Montreal and won the gold.
Regarding Hagler, who turned pro in 1973 after winning the US national championships, I suppose he would have blossomed into a world dominant amateur had he postponed turning pro until after the 1976 Olympics. So yes, I could imagine Hagler winning gold at Montreal.
