That's an interesting one. I'm gonna give this one some thought. First thought is Qawi stops him. In his prime it'd be a lot like vs Frazier (had they fought). Too much pressure and size for Floyd.

I don't see how the man was too much size for Patterson considering Qawi was only 5'7"-5'8" tops. But it definitely is a good match up and since I always felt Rocky Marciano would have beaten Patterson I probably would lean towards Qawi's perpetual motion attacks basically cutting Patterson down to size. The big question is would Floyd last the distance or would he get stopped.

Qawi could drop Patterson, but Floyd was powerful enough to put down Qawi, who had a better chin. With their styles it would be an intense fight. A hard one to pick.

Either guy could win this, and it'd definitely be an exceptional fight, but I'd lean toward Patterson to take a decision. At least in their first bout.

If they fought multiple times, I think they'd each wind up with some wins in the series.
