Tillis wins by decision. He was taller, heavier, and quicker than Cooper. At his best, Tillis was fleet-footed, fast with his hands, made effective use of his jab, and had pretty decent long-range boxing skills. See Tillis's 1982 points win over Earnie Shavers for evidence of what I mean.

Cooper would have a chance, of course. Possibly he'd use his powerful hook to pound Tillis and chase him around the ring. But I doubt it.

Check Cooper's record. You'll see that, even in his prime, Henry lost to guys he should have beaten. Roger Rischer and Amos Johnson are two examples. On top of that, Henry went down pretty hard in KO losses to Zora Folley and Floyd Patterson. Let's not overlook Cooper's extreme vulnerability to cuts too.

Tillis was no Muhammad Ali. He was very beatable, even at his best. But I'd give him the edge over Cooper.
