Said Tom Loeffler, “We are excited to announce our next Hollywood Fight Nights Show on Saturday, July 22 live on UFC Fight Pass. We are looking forward to bringing World Class Boxing back to Chumash Casino Resort with Serhii Bohachuk defending his WBC Continental Americas Championship against tough Patrick Allotey. This will be a great boxing weekend for fans to come to the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley."

Internationally known for his knockouts which have accounted for all of his victories, the 28-year-old Bohachuk returns to battle following a sixth-round stoppage of Nathaniel Gallimore on January 27, his fourth straight victory. Among his other knockout wins during this impressive streak include Aaron Coley, Raphael Igbokwe and Brandon Baue.

“I’m happy to be back in the ring on July 22 and looking forward to defending my WBC title against Patrick Allotey,” said Bohachuk.

“I saw him fight for the world title against Jaime Munguia and think this will be another great challenge to show I am ready to become a world champion.”

The hard-hitting Allotey, from the boxing rich country of Ghana, challenged current top-rated middleweight Jaime Munguia in a hotly contested world championship battle in 2019.

Most recently he scored an eighth-round stoppage of Hamisi Maya on March 22, 2022 in Accra, Ghana. Among the other notable names Allotey has clashed with over his sixteen years as a professional include Kanat Islam, Patrick Teixeira and Charles Manyuchi.

Press Release | Undercard Information

Tom Loeffler’s 360 Promotions has set the undercard for this Saturday, July 22, Hollywood Fight Nights event from the Chumash Casino Resort and broadcast live globally on UFC Fight Pass.

The seven-bout card is headlined by the return of Ukrainian knockout artist Serhii ‘El Flaco’ Bohachuk (22-1, 22 KOs), defending his WBC Continental Americas title against world title challenger, Patrick Allotey, (42-4, 32 KOs), of Accra, Ghana in a scheduled ten-rounder.

Co-featured on Saturday night is a sensational featherweight clash scheduled for eight-rounds between undefeated and hard-hitting, Southern California fan favorite Omar Trinidad, (12-0-1, 9 KOs) and Roberto ‘The Ram’ Meza, (15-3-1, 8 KOs), of Temecula, CA. Trinidad returns to battle following a dominant unanimous decision over arch-rival Adan Ochoa on April 14, 2023. The upset minded Meza looks to bounce back into the win column following a hotly contested decision against Isaac Avelar on September 23, 2022.

Light heavyweight Umar Dzambekov, (5-0, 4 KOs), of Austria, faces heavy handed and undefeated Kwame Ritter, (10-0, 8 KOs), of Columbia, MD in an eight rounder. The southpaw Dzambekov has stopped his last four opponents, most recently knocking out Crispulo Javier Andino in the third round on June 9, 2023, thrilling the sold-out crowd at the Commerce Casino. Ritter defeated Fernando Galvan on December 10, 2022 over eight rounds.

Northern California standout Cain Sandoval, (9-0, 9 KOs), looks to stay perfect against super lightweight Jose Marruffo, (14-11-2, 2 KO’s), of Phoenix, AZ in a fight scheduled for eight rounds. Fighting out of Sacramento, CA, the 20-year-old Sandoval hits the ring following a dominant performance, stopping Jose Angulo in the fifth round on April 14, 2023, his debut under the 360 Promotions’ banner. Marruffo has fought a number of top contenders and looks to continue his winning streak after stopping Ioannis Birmpillis in the fifth round on November 26, 2022 in Brampton, Canada.

Scheduled for eight rounds in the bantamweight division, Narek Abgaryan, (15-1, 6 KOs), of Los Angeles, CA faces Manuel Manzo, (9-7-3, 4 KOs), of Fresno, CA. The Armenian born Abgaryan, trained by Hall of Famer Freddie Roach, makes his long-awaited return to the ring after a unanimous decision over Sabelo Ngebinyana on August 7, 2021. Manzo was victorious in his biggest win, a decision over previously undefeated Emmanuel Rodriguez in Atlantic City, NJ on November 12, 2012.

Opening the UFC Fight Pass broadcast, 21-year-old Daniel ‘Chucky’ Barrera, (2-0-1, 2 KOs), of Riverside, CA looks to continue to impress in a scheduled six-rounder against Eduardo Alvarez, (0-2-1), of Long Beach, CA. Barrera had the crowd on their feet at the Quiet Cannon Country Club scoring a first-round knockout of Victor Hernandez Martin on January 27.

Fighting in an off-tv welterweight six rounder, Jorge Maravillo, (7-0, 7 KOs), of Marina, CA clashes with Terry Fernandez, (6-1, 6 KOs), of Oakland, CA.

SERHII BOHACHUCK HALTS PATRICK ALLOTEY IN OPENING ROUND

Junior middleweight contender Serhii Bohachuk wanted to fight more rounds, but will take a knockout win on his journey towards a world title shot.

Bohachuk knocked out former world title challenger Patrick Allotey in the opening round Saturday night at the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, California.

The hard-hitting Bohachuk improved to 23-1, 23 knockouts.

Bohachuk, who is originally from Ukraine and now resides in Los Angeles, worked methodically behind a jab from the opening bell.

With less than a minute left in the round, Bohachuk landed a sweeping right cross to the chin, dropping Allotey face-first to the canvas. Allotey did get up after the count of nine, but referee Jack Reiss waved the fight off at 2:33 to the surprise of Allotey.

Several moments passed before a despondent and upset Allotey finally took the gloves off, as instructed by an inspector with the California State Athletic Commission.

The 28-year-old previously fought on January 27, knocking out former contender Nathaniel Gallimore in the sixth round. Bohachuk has now won his five bouts since losing by knockout to Brandon Adams in March 2021, in a fight he was ahead on the scorecards at the time of the stoppage.

Promoter Tom Loeffler announced Bohachuk, who is ranked No. 2 by the WBC, will return to action on November 10 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

“Serhii is ready for a world title shot now,” said Loeffler after the fight. “Whether it’s for the vacant WBC world title or if (Jermell) Charlo decides to move down after the Canelo (Alvarez) fight, I would like to make that fight happen.

Allotey, who resides in Accra, Ghana, falls to 42-5, 32 KOs. The 32-year-old had won his previous two fights since losing by knockout to then-WBO world junior middleweight titleholder Jaime Munguia in September 2019.

In the co-feature, featherweight Omar Trinidad dropped Roberto Meza twice en route to a sixth round knockout victory.

Trinidad, who resides in the Boyle Heights section of Los Angeles, improved to 13-0-1, 10 KOs.

The 27-year-old began walking Meza down during the second round, connecting with a series of right crosses to the head. Midway during the third round, a left hook to the head dropped Meza to the canvas. Meza was able to beat the count, but began receiving punishment from the thudding punches Trinidad was connecting.

Early in the fifth round, Trinidad again dropped Meza to the canvas. Although he was game and tried to fight back, Meza was not able to keep Trinidad off of him.

Trinidad’s high-volume and accurate power punches took their toll on Meza. After a combination to the head connected again, Meza’s corner threw in the towel, prompting referee Sharon Sands to step in and stop the fight at 1:16.

Meza, who resides in Temecula, California, falls to 15-4-1, 8 KOs.

In a clash of unbeaten light heavyweights prospects, Umar Dzambekov defeated Kwame Ritter by unanimous decision. Scores were 79-73, 79-73, and 78-74 for Dzambekov, who improved to 6-0, 4 KOs.

After an even start, Dzambekov began to land more at will during the fourth round. Dzambekov’s punches split Ritter’s guard, landing to the head, but his punches also connected to the body of Ritter.

As the bout progressed, Ritter’s punch output dropped considerably. Dzambekov continued to land at will, even momentarily stunning Ritter during the seventh round.

Tom Loeffler, who promotes Dzambekov, told The Ring Dzambekov will return to action on the August 26 Hollywood Fight Nights card at the Commerce Casino in Commerce, California.

Ritter, who resides in New York City, falls to 10-1, 8 KOs.

Lightweight prospect Cain Sandoval dropped Jose Marruffo of Phoenix, Arizona once en route to a knockout win in round 6.

Sandoval, who resides in Sacramento, improved to 10-0, 10 KOs.

The 20-year-old Sandoval dropped Marruffo with a combination to the head at the end of the second round. Marruffo beat the count, but the bell sounded to end the round, preventing Sandoval from following up.

Despite being dropped, Marruffo (14-12-2, 2 KOs) continued being game, catching Sandoval with the occasional counter with the left hand to the head. Sandoval’s punches took their toll on Marruffo, as his face, particularly below his right eye, was bruised.

Towards the end of round 6, a combination to the head momentarily stunned Marruffo, prompting referee Jack Reiss to stop the fight at 2:38.

Bantamweight prospect Narek Abgaryan broke down Fresno’s Manuel Manzo (9-8-3, 4 KOs), scoring a knockout win in the sixth round.

Abgaryan, who is originally from Yerevan, Armenia and now resides in Los Angeles, improved to 16-1, 7 KOs.

Manzo was game from the opening bell, but Abgaryan landed the more-effective combinations to Manzo’s head and body. Manzo would throw an abundance of punches, but would get countered with left hooks to the head.

A combination to the head of Manzo early in round 6 prompted referee Sharon Sands to step in and stop the fight at 42 seconds, much to the chagrin of Manzo, but the stoppage was the right call.

In the opening bout of the 360 Boxing Promotion card, amateur standout and flyweight Daniel Barrera (3-0-1, 3 KOs) of Upland, California knocked out Long Beach’s Eduardo Alvarez (0-3-1) at 1:42 of the first round. A left hook to the body dropped Alvarez down and for the count.

In non-televised action, Jorge Maravillo stopped Terry Fernandez (6-2, 6 KOs) of Oakland at 42 seconds of the first round. Maravillo, who resides in Salinas, California, goes to 8-0, 8 KOs.

Press Release

Saturday night at the Chumash Casino Resort, WBC #2 ranked super welterweight Serhii ‘El Flaco’ Bohachuk, (23-1, 23 KOs), continued his knockout streak through the division with a stunning, one punch, first round knockout (2:32) of world title challenger, Patrick Allotey, (42-5, 32 KO), of Accra, Ghana.

Said promoter Tom Loeffler, “Serhii continued to prove why he’s the most exciting fighter in the super welterweight division. He’s ready for a world title fight now.”

“The entire card was full of action-packed fights, the crowd here at Chumash Casino was tremendous and we look forward to returning in the future.”

In the evening’s co-feature, Southern California favorite Omar Trinidad, (13-0-1, 10 KOs), continued to shine with a sixth-round stoppage of Roberto Meza, (15-4-1, 8 KOs). Dropping Meza in the third and fifth round, Trinidad earned the victory when the fight was stopped at the 1:16 mark of the sixth round.

In a battle of undefeated light heavyweights, Umar Dzambekov, (6-0, 5 KOs), of Austria, defeated Kwame Ritter, (10-1, 8 KOs), over eight rounds. Scores were 79-73, 79-73 and 78-74.

The hard-hitting southpaw took control of the fight after an even first two rounds using an aggressive body attack to score throughout the second half of the fight.

Junior welterweight Cain Sandoval, (10-0, 10 KOs), fighting for the second time under the 360 Promotions’ banner, stopped the valiant Jose Marruffo, (14-12-2, 2 KOs), in the sixth round (2:28). Sandoval dropped Marruffo at the end of the second round and earned the stoppage victory from a barrage of unanswered punches in the sixth stanza of their scheduled eight-rounder.

Bantamweight veteran Narek Abgaryan, (16-1, 6 KOs), made his long-awaited return to action with a sixth round (0:41) knockout of Manuel Manzo, (9-8-3, 4 KOs) in a fight scheduled for eight rounds. Abgaryan used excellent counter punching throughout and forced the referee’s stoppage from a multiple punch combination which badly hurt Manza.

Opening the broadcast, 21-year-old Daniel ‘Chucky’ Barrera, (3-0-1, 2 KOs), knocked out Eduardo Alvarez, (0-3-1) in the first round (1:42) of a scheduled six-rounder flyweight bout. A battering left hook to the body dropped Alvarez for the count.

Prior to the start of the broadcast, Jorge Maravillo, (8-0, 8 KOs), stopped Terry Fernandez, (6-2, 6 KOs), in the first round (0:43) of their scheduled six round super welterweight bout.
