Ken Norton vs. Buster Mathis Sr.

Post by scorpio83 »

15 Rounds Heavyweight Bout

Norton would overwhelm Mathis behind his jabs, body punching and nailing him with left hooks and right hands to either take a decision or stopping him late. What do you guys think and who do you got?

That's exactly how I see it.

Norton beats down Mathis Sr. much as did Frazier. Ken's firepower makes all the difference.

It funny, if you look at the common opponents of Norton and Frazier - Foreman, Ali, Quarry, and Stander. Their results were almost identical. Guess I am with you guys on this one. It would be interesting for a while, but gradually Norton would take over.

At least in body physique, Ken Norton wins. Buster Mathis is too fat!
