Galindez wins a close 15 round decision. Parlov's southpaw stance, defensive skills, and boxing ability give Galindez fits all night. But Victor pulls out the win because of his superior physical strength, aggression, counter-punching ability, and overall ring savvy.

Under no circumstances does Galindez stop Parlov, who was durable, usually in superb condition, and physically strong. Keep in mind that Saad Muhammad described Parlov as among the strongest guys he ever fought.

People probably think Parlov gets KO'd because they saw how vulnerable he was against Marvin Johnson. But Mate was out of shape that night. He had to lose 20 lbs in three weeks before the match and entered the ring drained of strength.

Had Parlov been in top shape, he still would have lost to the hard-hitting Johnson, but would have survived the full 15 round distance.

Parlov would have his moments outboxing Galindez behind his southpaw jabs and right-left combos in the early rounds, but Galindez would cut him off the ring and ropes with good counterpunching on the body and head from the mid to later rounds to take a decision.
