This fight would have been a sold out crowd, especially in Las Vegas.
What if Salvador Sanchez challenged Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini in 1982 instead of challenging Alexis Arguello?

Boom Boom. Salvador fan, ,but 135 may be a bit too much for him, and certain fighters, like Rosario, Davis jr, and Camacho, are a bad matchup.

Re: Lightweights: Salvador Sanchez vs Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini
Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini would definitely had the strength and punching power advantage. I remember the way he went right through Bobby Chacon. It was like a bulldozer.
I don't know if the great Salvador Sanchez would have had the punching power to keep Mancini honest a little bit. But, I can see definitely Boom Boom carrying the fight and pushing Sanchez to the ropes.
