Taylor vs Cameron II

Post by IrishGuy »

Fights this Saturday, unless my phone has a glitch can't find a thread. About to go watch the first one. Wasn't surprised at the time I think taylor has been on the slide yet still winning for the majority of her pro career, stayed amateur too long, looking forward to it though

If you have a spare hundred K put in on the fight going the distance.

They need to go 3 minute rounds or 4 ounce gloves to bring up the stoppage ratio.

Suffering through endless points decisions with sloppy slappy eyes closed punches is becoming a real pain

Taylor has had an unbelievable career despite turning pro so late.

Think it comes to an end this weekend tho.

Just shows the lack of interest in women's boxing in general

I'm really looking forward to this one as the first one was a belter. Katie's fight with Serrano was a classic, that puts most men's fights to shame. I fancy Cameron to win this one in more convincing fashion and may stop Taylor.

Didn't need a rematch Cameron won the first one easy, think she stops Taylor this time around.

I honestly wouldn't be too surprised if Taylor gets stopped in this one. Will keep my spare hundred K for another fight, I think.

Was it somehow related to his status as an immigrant?

Might be , I know Conor McGregor's been tweeting about criminals being allowed into Ireland recently after some murder case involving some girl but this is unconnected I'd imagine but Conor's got some followers in Dublin so I'd imagine unintentionally McGregor's tweets might stoke some of his fans up after this incident

tbf i read it as some of the people who were kicking off were doing so in relation to the guy being an immigrant, which would then make it relevant that he is an immigrant

I genuinely don't know anything about what happened apart from being an immigrant, what's odd? Do I have to know each detail? I did read about a possible nationality but could be bollocks

Another example of a fight where I'd be tempted to sub to DAZN for a one-off month, if they hadn't increased the price to a ridiculous amount. Honestly think they've killed themselves in the casual market with their pricing structure.

Are you serious? Imagine paying to watch two women flail at each other for 20 minutes and pretending they’re world class athletes

James, you'll have to forgive me, but you come across as the tiniest bit sexist. Did you watch the first fight or Taylor-Serrano?

I’ve watched plenty of womens fight and the quality is leagues below the men. They are comparable to amateur novices

If you didn't think that was excellent exhibition of boxing skill by two high level athletes, there is no hope for you.

Quality was very low compared to men. It was like two teenage amateur boys
