Roy Jones Jr. vs. Alan Minter

Post by scorpio83 »

12 or 15 Rounds Middleweight Bout

Jones would be too fast for the southpaw Minter to handle as he cut Minter's eye open with quick combinations and he would stop him late. What do you guys think and who do you got?

Jones wins a TKO on cuts no later than the sixth round.

Minter was vulnerable to cuts throughout his career, and RJJ had blazing hand speed and combination punching ability. For this reason, Alan's scar tissue would open early, and he'd bleed for most of the fight.

RJJ would win every round, but he probably never hurts Minter the way Hagler and Sibson did. Minter would put on a scrappy effort as long as it lasts.

Staggered folk believe Minter could have distanced RJJ. Think it would be a massive achievement for Alan to get to the mid rounds point.

Just another Jones opponent that would be dismissed as a bum. Jones would make him look like he never boxed before
