Hasim Rahman vs Lamon Brewster

Anywhere between 2004-2006. Say, when both held title belts at HW.

Who wins?

Either Rahman stops Brewster early by KO in 5 or Brewster take a decision or stopping Rahman late.

I feel like Rahman was the more skilled guy. Brewster was tough enough, and rugged enough that he'd make it hard for Rahman in several spots, but I think Rahman is good enough to come out ahead here. Probably on points.

Do you really think Rahman had the power to KO Brewster, who had a granite chin?

My guess is that Rahman puts his left-jab to good use and wins a decision. Brewster could really bang, but he was kind of muscle bound and could be out-jabbed and out-maneuvered.

Of course, Brewster could get lucky in the latter rounds and KO Hasim, like Maskaev did on two occasions. But overall, I'd rate this a 75% chance of Rahman victory.

Brewster's not impossible to KO or anything, but it does take some doing. I don't really see a KO happening here, but it's certainly not out of the question for either of 'em. Both had good power.
