From the top welterweights of the past decade, Pacquiao was perhaps the only one whom Porter didn't get to share the ring with. At least, if we speak about PBC-affiliated fighters (Pac was aligned with PBC in 2019-2021).

Pac and Porter used to spar at Wild Card Gym. And Shawn always wanted to get that fight.

What if Porter fights Pac instead of Thurman in 2019? How does this fight go? Pac had his last hoorah against Thurman. How does Pac-Porter fight go?

Would Pacquiao-Porter fight go any different, if they'd have faced each other prior to 2019, but after 2013 (Porter been at or near the top of the WW division since late 2013).

If Pac could beat Thurman, he could beat Porter. Porter is a lesser Tim Bradley.
