Round 1
Time Commentary Points
0:00 The fighters come out of their corners, ready to initiate action here in the first. 0:0
0:08 Tunney connects with an uppercut. He can make good use of that punch if he can continue to get inside. 0:2
0:21 A cross lands for Tunney. Tommy Loughran didn't see that one coming. 0:4

01:01 Tunney lands a short left hook to the head. 0:6
01:01 * Tunney's last punch snapped back the head of Loughran. And it looks like it has also drawn blood! 0:8
01:01 The blood is coming from somewhere on the inside of Loughran's right eyebrow and it's following a path downward alongside his nose and onto his upper lip. It appears to be a fairly bad gash. 0:8
01:01 You hate to see your own blood anytime, but especially in the first round. 0:8
01:01 * Loughran seems to be having some difficulty seeing. It's not that he's bleeding all that badly but the location of the cut - over the eye - makes it a bit more serious. And talk about timing, the referee has stepped in and momentarily stopped the fight. He's looking at the cut above Loughran's eye and is now leading him toward the ringside physician. 0:8
01:01 * The referee won't stop the fight on his own if the reason for the stoppage directly has to do with a cut or swelling; he'll always consult the ringside doctor. And it looks like, in this case, we're going to see some more boxing because the physician has given his okay to let the fight continue. Both fighters are assuming their positions and the timer has restarted here in Round 1 as the fighters approach one another. 0:8
01:23 Loughran just misses with a huge shot as Tunney chooses the perfect time to suddenly backpedal. 0:8
01:30 Loughran just absorbed a terrifying shot to the body. 0:12

02:16 Both fighters are exchanging blows! Tunney scored more on that exchange. 6:15
02:26 Not a lot on that hook to Loughran's side, but it scored. 6:17
02:35 There's a lot of excitement surrounding this fight. The fans are really in to it. 6:17
02:38 Loughran catches Tunney with an uppercut as he tries to duck. 8:17
02:52 Loughran throws a leaping shot that fails to hit the target. 8:17

Round 2
Time Commentary Points
0:00 Round 2 is about to begin... There's the bell! 0:0
0:06 Whatever Emanuel Steward said to him in the corner between rounds must have had some effect as Loughran has some spring in his step here in the 2nd round. 0:0
0:06 The cut inside the right eyebrow suffered by Loughran has been closed for the time being, thanks to a great job by his cut man. 0:0
0:07 A flurry of blows from Loughran lands to the body 2:0
0:23 Loughran is motioning with his gloves for Tunney to bring it on, but Loughran is not being overly aggressive himself right now. 2:0
0:34 Tunney fires a lead right that Tommy Loughran manages to avoid. 2:0
0:37 Loughran connects with a cross to Tunney's body. 4:0
0:50 Tunney grabs Loughran's head, pulls it down, into his chest. Steele has to force Tunney to let go. 4:0
0:55 The fighters separate after a clinch. 4:0
01:00 Tunney is going to come out on the short end of this exchange of punches. 7:2
01:18 Some nice infighting ends with Loughran getting an uppercut in. 9:2
01:36 Loughran fires and misses. 9:2
01:51 Loughran ties up Tunney... 9:2
01:55 The Referee breaks it up... 9:2
02:00 Loughran fires a jab to the body 11:2
02:14 What an exchange!! Loughran got the best of that, but Those two were going at it hell bent for leather!! 14:4
02:23 Loughran doesn't have to look for Tunney this round. He is right there in front of him. 14:4
02:31 Tunney is still trying to find the range with his punches. He's just missing with some of his shots. 14:4
02:34 Loughran glances a hook off Tunney's side. 16:4
02:50 Loughran is moving around the ring nicely. 16:4
02:55 The two men are bumping heads as they wrestle on the inside. Now, Tunney lands a short uppercut to the chin of Loughran. 16:6
02:55 It looks like Tunney has reopened Loughran's previous wound because Loughran is now bleeding once again. 16:6
02:55 Blood is clearly coming from the reopened gash on the inside of Loughran's right eyebrow. It's got to have some affect on him, if not physically then mentally. 16:6
02:55 Bleeding is part of the fight game and you hate to see it determine the outcome, but when a cut occurs this early in the fight it often plays a part in the decision. Let's face it, judges can be influenced by the sight of blood. 16:6
02:55 * The fighters jockey back and forth and now the referee is going to use this opportunity to step in and call timeout. He's taking Loughran by the arm and leading him to the far ropes where the ringside physician can take a look at the cut above Loughran's eye. 16:6
03:00 * Steele is halting this fight. He steers Loughran to his corner and calls the ring doctor. The ring doctor is taking a close look at it... Loughran's corner is pleading with Steele.* And on the advice of the doctor Steele is stopping the fight! Loughran's cuts are just too severe and Tunney is the winner by TKO! 16:6
Fight Result

Re: Event#14 EMM vs Rondon....Qawi vs Hall.....Fitz vs JHL...IBFChamp Loughran vs Tunney
I never mind a loss, but that's a comically terrible way to lose a belt.
Lewis with a nice little upset as well this card.

Better to get it over in the early rounds, than to go almost to the end before the "powers that be" step in to stop you in your tracks.
Re: Event#14 EMM vs Rondon....Qawi vs Hall.....Fitz vs JHL...IBFChamp Loughran vs Tunney
Bad week for the BrainTrust.
I'm thinking my boys have been spending a little too much time partying, and not enough time training. I'll be having a word with 'em, and they'll be back to their fighting best soon.
I know they're better than what they showed me this week.

Re: Event#14 EMM vs Rondon....Qawi vs Hall.....Fitz vs JHL...IBFChamp Loughran vs Tunney
Yes, harsh way to lose the title. We do owe Loughran and Geto and will have a rubber match, at some point, belts or no belts.
EMM and Qawi, no upsets there, but Fitz's loss, though not a huge upset, I really thought Fitz would, in his customary style, land some bombs but JHL deserved to win, in what was a nice little read.
