WBO CEO P4P1 has announced their belt is on the line during the MDT.
WBA pool champion Joe Knight has agreed with the commission to participate and thus the WBA belt is on the line during the MDT.
IBO is a shuffleshitz affair, and is beholden to the Whims of Shuffleshits.
The Lineal Lonsdale honors is what it is. are what they are and may not be trifled with.
IBF, WBA and WBC will not have options of UNIFICATION during this time. IF any of these champions face each other it will be considered a non title event. (The WBO may or may not choose to recognize the winner of a belt holder from another sanctioning body, that is of course up to them)
The current WBC and IBF champions should announce their intent either to place their titles on the line or not. Their opinions will be heard, and they will be allowed discretion. Popular opinion seems to lean toward them to do so, but they must make clear their intent going in and it will be honored accordingly.
Perhaps standing champions fully intended to bring their belts into the MDT? .....if so it should be an easy decision for them But for those who hadn't considered this...you have options.

Archie Moore has been downgraded to WBC Interim World Champion and John Henry Lewis has been recognised as WBC Silver Champion.
Both "half-belts" will stay in circulation in the MDT, but they will not be collectable to other World Champions - until the final - when the 2 half-belts will be made whole again...
