I believe Reggie Ford didn't stand at 5'3" after watching that fight with "The Bodysnatcher" Mike McCallum who stands at 5'11 1/2. When they stood fighting at the center of the ring, Ford stood at 5'8" or 5'9". Ford at least likely at 5'9 when I watched his fight with Dave "Boy" Green.

I'd like to know the source for Ford being listed at 5'3". Seems way off. By the way, years ago, a guy in the Army told me Ford was working as a security guard at a Woolworth store in NYC.

We all know Ford was taller than the listed 5'3", which was several inches way off like you said. We don't know why the source would list Ford shorter than his actual height for whatever reason.
