Help with Soreness/recovery/fatigue
Help with Soreness/recovery/fatigue
Been boxing for about 5 months now been hitting the heavy bag for 6 rounds everyday for that amount of time recently been taking weekends off to recover shoulder and leg soreness. This week sucked. I’ve been getting winded easily and feeling slower like I want to try and move faster and throw harder but mslopey body won’t allow it. I was at an all time high last weeks sparing session but this weeks all time low. Got beat because of this problem I need some advice did I burn out? Also when I first started I weighed roughly 212 now I’m 175.6 so why do I suddenly feel fat, slow, sluggish, and weak?

sounds like you might be over training, you shouldnt be going every day
may also want to check with a dr, in case youve got some illness or something

Re: Help with Soreness/recovery/fatigue
You shouldn't get sore shoulders from hitting a punchbag.
It's either too heavy, *your too heavy, your trying to knock it out, your distance is out, your overtraining............or most likely a combination of all five.
*carrying too much weight which is carried through your punches will impact on your joints.
Switch to the top and bottom ball, shadow boxing and light running.
Fatigue: You've lost too much weight too quickly. I'm guessing you changed your diet as well?
