Honestly, I think Adamek's style was playing right into Stevenson's pull back- counter straight left hand.
Tomasz actually became a bit more technical after a move to heavyweight. But at LHW, he was often a face-first brawler. His chin was OK, but I also remember him being hurt in Briggs fights.
Plus, Adamek was struggling with getting into LHW limit for some time. Even before Dawson bout, he looked somewhat soaked and gaunted in the Briggs fight. That could've impacted Adamek's punch resistance and gas tank.
