Gibbons almost finally had his gold. The knockdown in the last round costed him the strap. Probably his last chance to get gold before the season is up too.
That lose probably costs Maxie a shot at the Super Six
Loughran once again foiled in an attempt to beat Tunney. At least this one was clean. Still, in a fight he was easily winning, let that man go another 4 seconds, clear that round, and see what he does in the 11th. Still, hats off to Tunney with the win. Hopefully they meet again in the Super Six.

Damn Loughran is proving a real bogey man for Gene. Winning handily and Gene was a bit fortunate there. Maybe those 'sharp shooting' skills finally helped as Tommy is not an easy man to stop.
