Roy dominated Woods back in 2002, but that was when he was still near pick of his powers.
Several years later, Roy will be on the downside of his career. While Woods will be holding the IBF belt.
What if Roy would've faced Woods in period of 2007-2008? Say, Roy from the Hanshaw or Trinidad fight against Woods of the 3rd Johnson or Tarver fight?
How would you rate RJJ's chances to win the title at that stage of his career?

Jones would win by UD, even in his semi-shot state by that point

Tough call. Jones Jr. edges it, imo.

Woods batters him. Jones was shot by then.

We all know Jones was shot to pieces by this point. I don't recall any big wins coming out of Clinton Woods in this time period either though.
I'd imagine it would've been a much tougher fight than their 2002 encounter, but Jones still likely beats Woods.

a lot more competitive than their first fight but jones still wins. woods doesnt really have an standout attribute that would get to roy in the same way other opponents who beat him did

Jones would barely Woods by decision and he might struggled in 2007 and 2008 along the way.
