I remember being at a Robert Guerrero fight back in 2014 at the stub hub. Guerrero and his opponent showed such tremendous heart in the bout. Back and fourth exchanges throughout the entire fight. Neither guy had the power to hurt the other and they just hit each other with everything. After the fight, I overwhelmed by the sensation that I had seen a action filled but very boring fight. Every round seemed the same as the last. It was like a groundhog day of boxing. No ebb and flow, no drama, no storyline to the fight. Basically the fight had no personality.

This weekend I couldn't help to feel the same way. The cruz vs Valenzuela fight was especially like that. Cruz aggression was generally ineffective and Valenzuela pumped the jab and stayed away just enough to keep cruz off him. That was the entire fight. I got a similar sensation from the Andy Ruiz fight. Seemed like both guys were just sitting there hitting each other with no apparent adverse affect other than ruiz getting tired. In the main event, I saw nobody willing to step on the gas. Just a forgettable type fight. I applaud the effort of the promotion here but the fights themselves felt rather pedestrian considering the hype and even the matchmaking. Am I wrong for thinking this way or did anyone also feel this way.

Maybe but there was not way he was going to get a decision. Joel Diaz said before the fight that he needed a KO to win so I'm surprised he didn't push the action more.

it was a decent but not great card from a viewing perspective. wasnt non stop action, but we got 2 (nearly 3) upsets. i enjoyed bakole taking apart anderson. andy cruz was impressive. miller-ruiz were blobs but it was close. main event wasnt action filled either, but arguably craw's toughest fight

on paper i did like it a lot though, and we cant see into the future when fights are made, so i judge mostly on how things looked going into the bouts. wasnt ortiz-tim tszyu supposed to be on originally as well? i bet that woulda been good if tim's cut had healed

and yes crawford clearly won, by 7-5 or 8-4. judging was actually spot on for that one

It was very good card. Disapointed by lack of action in main event, but other fights were solid.

Really enjoyed the entire card. Even Eminem. BUt it didnt end in the early hours of the morning here in Australia. Thought the main fight was very good. And yes for whoever was chasing the bite - Crawford 116 112 or 115 113 is spot on.

Good card, but felt like it missed some of those magical ingredients that make mega cards mega cards. Things like a pack crowd (not that fake sell out bullshit that has pockets of empty seats), a read hot atmosphere, a main event with styles that click. Not bad but didn't leave me with that "wow that was worth staying up until this ungodly hour" feeling
