Pierce win a UD, 97-93 x2(ditto) and 99-91, not a classic but controversy in the 4th when he dropped Sanmartin with left uppercut to the solar plexus, high in the solar plexus I might add but ref inexplicably called it low, get out of jail card for Sanmartin, Pierce was one paced , content to just stand in front of Sanmartin and pop the jab and put shots together without really putting anything into them, a lot of shoeshine shots, Sanmartin is game but basic , landed here and there but nothing consistent until last couple rounds where he upped it, Pierce ran out a clear winner but he'll not go far, too lackadaisical and gets hit too easy

katzourakis seems to be a fighter who divides ppl, last fight some people thought he won a robbery too but i thought it was a legit win, same with this one, katz the winner for me but it was hard to score

brandon adams has looked a level above and should beat katz outright though i think. this is adams 4th tournament i think? 2 in espn, the contender, now this, seems to like the format

Pierce is a strange one, that's a good few times I've seen him now and he can look like a world beater one minute and very pedestrian the next, the way Villanueva hurt and dropped him a couple fights ago was worrying, very innocuous punch
