154lbs, 12 rounds.
Oscar had a pretty nice run at 154. From Castillejo fight in 2001 up till Mayweather bout in 2007 (where he lost, but fought well).
To even things up a little bit age-wise - let's match Oscar from the Floyd fight (who was 34 years old) against Crawford of today (who's 37).
To be honest, I think it would've been a tough fight for everyone involved.
Would Crawford have done better than Mayweather against De La Hoya? How it would've looked like, in your opinion?

I think Crawford wins this bout.
Maybe a decision win, maybe a later rounds tko.
More likely a decision win.
Something like 7-5 ,7-4-1 , 8-4.

Either the Golden Boy or Bud Crawford take a decision in a back and forth fight.

Crawford is just too smart, too adaptable, too precise and strong in his punches. Oscar will make a fight of it and land some good shots but will be relegated to trying to outbox Crawford after getting stung a few times, which won’t work. So Crawford by UD.

Oscar UD.
Bud has great defence and a great chin, but I’d like to see if a decent Oscar left hook unsettles him a bit
