Josh Sandford vs Aidan Williamson

Post by handsofstone »

This Friday on DAZN from Scotland, you don't get many small hall shows from Scotland on TV these days, not like when we had Friday Fight Night on Sky years ago, you'd often get Scottish bills, BBC Scotland have shown a few over years but we're talking one every few years, think the last was Burns/Limond

So it's good to see some emerging Scottish talent, main event is super flys, McHale is 6-0 with 5 KOs, Twaha is 9-0 with 7 early, decent KO% for little guys

Lee McGregor and Scott Allan on the bill as well as some good Scottish prospects

Commonwealth Gold medalist Sean Lazzerini on the bill as is Luke Bibby who's highly touted, trained by Billy Nelson I believe

This cards on now, I'm not sure if main event is off, couldn't see it on the running order and now it's Josh Sandford vs Aidan Williamson topping the bill

Sandford is 7-1 and Williamson is 9-0, both jocks

Sandford beats Williamson by decision, looked a bit of a robbery, I had Williamson winning 97-93, there wasn't a lot of quality punches landed from either man if I'm honest, it was fought in good spirit , Sandford was aggressive strong, hard to hit clean but Williamson was the better technician, done the basics well and didn't mind toughing it out either, he pulled away down the stretch for me , Sandford's work lost a lot of steam, feel for Aidan Williamson he should've won
