for sure these guys:

usyk
lomachenko
crawford
inoue
canelo
roman gonzalez

good chance:

fury
bivol-bert winner
spence
tank davis
ioka
bam rodriguez (could do with a few more big wins)

there are more contenders for it of course. guys like boots ennis havent really done nearly enough resume wise but look very very talented and like they could if they can get the right fights. and guys like erislandy lara and jf estrada have a strong resume but a bit bland from a popularity perspective - could go either way

haney is a contender but needs to rebound strong after the garcia fiasco

junto nakatani - another guy with the talent who is building a good resume, but could do with an extra surge, especially in name recognition

Don’t think he’s fought in ages but surely Roman Gonzalez if considered still active will be in there.

Edit - ignore me for not reading. Maggie’s list.

Maybe Estrada. Take away Bam’s beat down of him this year (he’s 34 and past his best) Estrada has a good resume and beat Gonzalez last time out (his decision “Win” in their second fight was a farce). The issue probably is it’s way harder to get in below about lightweight.

Inoue, usyk, Crawford, canelo… they are a lock.

Basically the rest people have listed are very likely. I personally don’t know about josh Taylor…. But I guess undisputed may just be auto HOF.

I don't think he'll make it. He's had zero impact in America. Wilder will get in before him.

Getting in before means nothing in terms of who’s better… just who retires first.

But on the point, AJ Is way more worthy that wilder. AJ and fury are comparable.

I'm not disputing that, just going on what I've seen over the years from the IBHOF. Wilder will score highly for being American, his KO run and highlight reel and his trilogy with Fury.

The bar is pretty low to be honest - whilst it took 8x, Naz Hamed made it in there. I don`t understand the query of Josh Taylor making it in there .. he was undisputed.

but should undisputed be auto hall of fame?

Kambossos should of been undisputed he wasnt cause haney got the wbc belt emailed to him.... but the only difference there was a sanctioning bodys decision to elevate an interim champ.... so what a maricio cash out is the reason kambo isnt a hall of famer? Is a maricio whim more important than a resume?

Haney did get undisputed .. is he on the list? hard for me to say haney is currently a hall of fameer...

If undisputed is auto hall of fame... then what about "should of been undisputed"... 99% of people agree catteral beat taylor, so everyone (bar a couple of judges) think he should have been... should he be HOF?

Undisputed is a boxing battle, but its also a political battle. i dont think it should automaticaly get you there... Not saying taylor definatly dosent cause his resume is pretty good, butttt, just saying i am uncomfortable with undisputed=HOF..

Anyone been to a Hall of Fame induction? What’s the HOF museum like?

Also is there a UK version? :TU:

Agreed - I do understand where your coming from. And its why Mick is probably correct in guessing Wilder gets in at first nomination because he is from the USA, and the likes of AJ and Fury (especially if he loses again against Usyk) will probably take a couple years to get in.

The IBHOF has been a farce for quite a few years now.

It'd be a really random induction criteria if it was up to me.

I'd put Buatsi in already as he paid for a pro's boxing license who was skint and the only reason anyone found out about it was cos the pro he helped mentioned it. I love kindness like that.

I'd put Dave Allen in for doing the Alan Shearer goal celebration after the Bracamonte fight cos Shearer was in the crowd.

Ryan Rhodes is in for being really nice to everyone at the Sheffield Bonfire Night Fireworks event 12 years ago.

And Jon Pegg gets inducted twice (possibly three times) for being the nicest man in boxing ever who looks after everyone he works with in boxing. And he also gave me a Team Mckenna shirt and got me photos with everyone at the hotel before the Barnsley card.

I'll let the IBHOF know I'm up for helping out with selection criteria and inductions. I want paying mind, I've just been made redundant...

being undisputed isnt an auto induction. really no one is thinking highly of taylor for a while now and there was backlash there with the first cat fight. and it's not like this is just some obviously forgivable massively shot phase of his career like when roy jones jr staarted getting ko'd left and right. further poor showings may still hurt taylor.

hamed was a far far far far bigger name than taylor, and had more depth at world level
