15 Rounds Heavyweight Bout
Either Walcott in his prime in 1940s and his four fight series against Ezzard Charles gets the better of Ellis in his prime from his WBA Heavyweight title and his defense against Floyd Patterson by outjabbing and outcountering him to take a decision or vice versa for Ellis to take a decision. What do you guys think and who do you got?

I am sorry, but the great Jersey Joe Walcott was in a different class altogether. He did everything better than Jimmy Ellis....... Everything!
Walcott by knockout in ten rounds.

I agree on Walcott but I think it's a very good bout.

That Ellis Patterson fight was controversial. I just watched it again on youtube a month or so ago. I had Patterson winning comfortablyscorpio83 wrote: ↑19 Nov 2024, 06:38 15 Rounds Heavyweight Bout

Comfortably? Thought it was about even. One round was missing when I watched it.
Anyway, would have to pick Walcott. A little better at almost everything. he was a little inconsistent, but he would probably win 4 out of 5. Would mostly likely be competitive.
