Bob Satterfield's reach

Can anyone please find out from the old newspaper article about what was Heavyweight's Bob Satterfield's reach?

You can basically determine reach from height. It doesn't apply (obviously) in all cases. I think Tommy Burns had a 75" reach though he was 5'7", and I have the same reach though I'm a shade under 5'10".

I'd say there's a margin of error of plus or minus 3 inches. If Satterfield was 5'10" his reach is most likely 70" but if he had wide shoulders it's harder to determine. Marciano was 5'11" but had a 68" reach. So Satterfield is probably between 68" and 73" with his reach. :maybe:

I don't think Marciano was that tall, his brother said he was only 5'9" in one book I read and he certainly looked short standing next to other people in photos.

It's possible. Jim Braddock wasn't necessarily a big man but he dwarfed Marciano in pictures when he visited him at his gym. 5'9" sounds probably closer to the truth.

Braddock must have been at least 6'2"
