Bob Satterfield's reach
Can anyone please find out from the old newspaper article about what was Heavyweight's Bob Satterfield's reach?

Re: Bob Satterfield's reach
You can basically determine reach from height. It doesn't apply (obviously) in all cases. I think Tommy Burns had a 75" reach though he was 5'7", and I have the same reach though I'm a shade under 5'10".
I'd say there's a margin of error of plus or minus 3 inches. If Satterfield was 5'10" his reach is most likely 70" but if he had wide shoulders it's harder to determine. Marciano was 5'11" but had a 68" reach. So Satterfield is probably between 68" and 73" with his reach.
BoxRec used to list reach back in the day.

I don't think Marciano was that tall, his brother said he was only 5'9" in one book I read and he certainly looked short standing next to other people in photos.

It's possible. Jim Braddock wasn't necessarily a big man but he dwarfed Marciano in pictures when he visited him at his gym. 5'9" sounds probably closer to the truth.

Braddock must have been at least 6'2"
