Karol Itauma
He's appearing on the Matchroom show vs TBA at the York Hall on Friday. Has he signed with Eddie?
Re: Karol Itauma
It's not a Matchroom show.
It's Charlie Sim's promotion - he's borrowed a number of fighters from Matchroom to give the show a bit of name value. Same with Itauma.

I think it’s a good move for the main promoters. Have a few shows a year where they can lob fighters on to get activity or to return after a loss.

It does make sense - neither Matchroom nor Queensbury are currently putting on enough shows to get the novice pros out even 4-6 times a year.

This cards on now, I'll watch main event later
Re: Karol Itauma
The female presenter is comically bad, like they pulled a random person of the street who's never watched boxing before.

Re: Karol Itauma
That was farcical, Liddard drops Ilunga 3 times en route to a 1st round stoppage, Ilunga was hurt 20 seconds in with a right hand and another clubbing one put him down, same clubbing shot had Ilunga down again another 20 seconds later, you knew it was gonna be over in about half a minute and sure enough, a right then a left from Liddard put him down for the last time, Ilunga got up and his eyes were clear but what's the point?
Re: Karol Itauma
Itauma didn't make it out then.
Just watched the last two fights - Matchroom will be glad they didn't have those opponents on their shows. That Liddard's has somehow found 29 others to beat boggles the mind.
Why do British refs feel the need to count to eight, then wave the fight off, when they've clearly made their mind up the second the guy hits the floor? Why the count?
Anyway, I enjoyed Bentley's enthusiasm on the mic if not much else.

Those shows pay the most. So if your not on the bill, your not earning top dollar.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑10 Dec 2024, 18:13Stop talking bollocks.
Guys are holding out to be on those shows.
Uysk admitted it, that he would wait for Tut Tut to tell him who he was fighting.
