What's the issue with his inactivity? Had the Stevenson fight cancelled due to an injury, this time not on Joe's part. Stevenson is now fighting someone else in February, yet nothing in the pipeline for Cordina...

Cordina apparently doesn’t have a promo deal with Matchroom now.

I think Cordina’s been wanting the best of both worlds.
Been with Matchroom since turning over but in recent years every interview he’s done he hasn’t seemed happy with things. Whether it’s the kind of Rolex given to him after he won a world title, the fact he was stripped of the title and he spoke about wanting unifications at home.
His deal with Matchroom finished after the Cacace fight and apparently he wanted to wait until after the fight before committing to Matchroom more long term/he wanted to see what else was out there. Then he lost.
Despite no longer having a promotional contract he was then critical of Matchroom for not being in touch whilst also saying he was still promoted by them. I am surprised that Matchroom didn’t contact him more following the Cacace loss though.
He’s signed with Spencer Brown as his manager so I’m sure he’ll end up fighting on one of the Riyadh season shows. Spencer shares a few fighters now with Eddie so perhaps they can get things sorted.

Was hoping he would get the Cruz fight in Vegas in Jan. Doesn't look like it though.
