How did you score it?
Fwank's kicking off was embarrassing. Fury, who thought he won the first fight, thought he won this one too.
The commentary team on TNT thought Fury won.
But what did the folk of BoxRec have?
I had it 7-5 Usyk.

same admittedly a couple were tough to score its what you prefer tbh , ive heard on here the tnt commentators were really biased sky weren't too bad tbfLenny Cravats wrote: ↑22 Dec 2024, 04:55 Fwank's kicking off was embarrassing. Re: How did you score it?
They really were. 'Good shot from Fury', 'Fury catches him again' - ignoring the two shots Usyk landed or the fact that the 'shot' from Fury didn't land.dan28uk wrote: ↑22 Dec 2024, 05:08same admittedly a couple were tough to score its what you prefer tbh , ive heard on here the tnt commentators were really biased sky weren't too bad tbfLenny Cravats wrote: ↑22 Dec 2024, 04:55 Fwank's kicking off was embarrassing. 115-113 Uysk
While it didn't have the drama of the first, it was still intense high quality stuff.
Not much in it, I had them even after 10 and gave Uysk the last 2.

A couple of close rounds early. I had it even after 6 but gave Usyk 5 of the final 6 rounds.
I can’t really see how anyone could have Tyson winning.

Re: How did you score it?
117-111 to Usyk with a few close rounds. Worst case scenario Usyk still won 115-113.

Just watched the post fight presser on YouTube.
Frank saying 'everyone in Britain thinks it was a robbery'.
I'm seeing that most people thought it was an Usyk win.
Best comment on YouTube for the day?
'Robbery? Come on... Even Vladimir Putin scored it for Usyk'

Re: How did you score it?
where did fwank find this poll of every person in britain
Re: How did you score it?
He asked John Fury, Tommy Fury and the cruiserweight Paris Fury. He even asked Fury's rival and former opponent, Chisora, who said Fury won and thanks for the payday.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑22 Dec 2024, 06:08 where did fwank find this poll of every person in britain![]()
Re: How did you score it?
Live I scored it even, but it's easy to turn some close rounds in Usyk's favor. When Fury was winning rounds, barely every time it was because of a couple of good punches. When Usyk was winning rounds, he was scoring decent combos. Overall, Usyk has done more quality stuff.

115-113 Usyk
Re: How did you score it?
I had it 9-3 for Fury this time.
Not last time somehow, Fury clearly improved and Usyk might have a good pair of lungs, but that's about it.

Re: How did you score it?
So you only paid attention to Fury cus you thought he improved?
Yeh, he did. But you clearly missed how Usyk dealt with the changes.
He landed the cleaner punches. More accurate. You can see his punches actually land. Couldn’t say same for Fury.
For some reason, despite the improvements, he lost this one more cleaner. That tells you more about Usyk.

Re: How did you score it?
After first couple rounds, I didn’t score but felt fury Should get it at the end, probably because I was watching TNT and that’s what I wanted.
The heavyweights need a huge personality at the top. Usyk, while absolutely brilliant, barely causes a ripple outside the boxing world.
So go the heavyweights, so goes boxing.
But what a fighter he is, the man from Ukraine

Re: How did you score it?
Had it 116-112 for Usyk, but wouldn’t argue with 115-113. For me Usyk was consistently scoring with the cleaner shots, displaying effective aggression and absorbing a lot of fury’s work on the gloves or making him miss.
Fury couldn’t match Usyk’s workrate and also got increasingly ragged as the fight wore on - his jabs in the later rounds were nothing more than flicks half the time (including some weird backhanders).
Genuinely can’t see how anyone could have seen fury winning more than 5 rounds

Re: How did you score it?
Another 116 to 112 here.
Fury is game and is the sort that will always convince himself he's in a fight until dead. I understand his inability to see a loss.
The people around him, including FW, I'd have more questions for. Is it propaganda to help keep options open, are they scared of upsetting Tyson, or are they deluded by their loyalty?
Usyk is awesome in every way.

Re: How did you score it?
117-112 to Usyk.
I scored the first even as I couldn’t split them but wouldn’t argue with it going to Fury which gives me the same score as the judges.
I think the scoring was good. Frank’s talking as if it was a disgrace that Usyk won rounds 9 & 10 on one judges card but even in them two rounds Fury had the best of the first two minutes of the rounds but took quite a lot of flush shots in the last minute of each.

Re: How did you score it?
Watched it again this morning with the sound off. Originally I was at 116-112, could have been a round either side of that, but absolutely no way on god's green did Fury win that fight.
