For me.

No change

But the winner of Parker-Dubois will move to #2 for me.

We also have Kabayel-Zhang on that too.

Usyk remains king. Fury down to 5.

Fury's record in the past 2 years:
1 day ago: Loss - Usyk
7 months ago: Loss - Usyk
1 year 2 months ago: Win (disputed) - Ngannou
Over 2 years ago: Win - Chisora

My current rankings:
1. Usyk
2. Dubois
3. Parker
4. Fury
5. Joshua
6. Zhang
7. Kabayel
8. Bakole
9. Chisora
10. Ajagba
11. Wallin
12. Vianello
13. Wardley
14. Joyce
15. Hrgovic

Joyce and Hrgovic only keep their places because of older wins. I don't think there's anyone with recent a win which solidifies a place in the top 15. The top 10 are more active than ever in competitive fights, those who can't get themselves Saudi money are being inactive.

No change. Apart of Usyk, it's hard to pick anybody over Fury.

No change.

Folk using this as an opportunity to demote Fury a few places are driven by their own agendas.

Fury has been on the slide for a couple of years but those were still the 2 best heavyweights last night.

What has he done to prove that? Most had him losing to Ngannou then he's lost two to Usyk. It's been two years since he beat Chisora, who many have beaten. You can't just squat in the top 2 forever without any worthwhile wins. Meanwhile Dubois has beat #4 and #6. Parker has beat #5 while also beating Fury's win just over 2 years ago in Chisora.

His 2 recent fights against Usyk.

Joshua's ranking didn't slip after his 2 fights with Usyk. It was only after the Dubois knockout that he started tumbling the order.

Usyk has a SD and UD over Joshua does that mean he's great? Ranking someone high based on losses is something that every Fury and Wilder fan has been doing for a while and it's weird.

Fine, if it makes you feel better then fill your boots.

I still maintain those were the 2 best current heavyweights last night and having watched Usyk's post fight press conference I think he would agree.

After the fight I thought the same as Josh.
What has Fury done lately?
Then I thought who else would have done as well against Uysk?
Not DDD, he was virtually shut out.
Parker I'm not so sure about, but probably a bit better than DDD, but not as good as Fury.
As for Zhang, I doubt he could even land flush on Uysk and would end up being a stationary heavy bag.
Which leaves Joshua, who didn't do as well as Fury the first time, but did about the same in the rematch.

So no, Fury stays where he is. We will watch him rant on social media for a few months, then clips will show up with him ballooning in weight and getting involved in drunken scuffles. Then we can demote him :TU:

This is the only logical step at this time. Yes Fury lost both fights but no one else has done enough to unseat him as the number 2 heavyweight

Fury’s best win in the last 2 years is a semi lucky SD after being knocked down by an 0-0 boxer…

DDDs in the last year he has stopped Miller (26-0), hrg (17-0), and AJ (28-3) for a world title.

If you think the only way of thinking that DDD should be above fury in the current heavyweight rankings is to have an agenda then you really must be theee number one fury fan boy.

Fury to 4

Meaning ddd up to 2 and Parker up to 3.

Recency matters. You don’t get to beat a 40 year old klit and a mediocre wilder and just be the top dog for the next 50 years.

I agree fury is a top dog talent, likely the 2nd best, but I rank on a combo of eye test and results and the results just aren’t there recently.

tyson's only win in the last 2.5+ years is the ngannou mess. i still rate him high because of the usyk fights, but there are many people who in principle dont give much credit for good losses, whether fury or not. it's not always some grand personal vendetta against fury, get real

you still had people arguing that wilder should be in after the zhang ko. meaning when it had been 1 win in the last 5 years, 4 losses in his last 5

fury fans and wilder fans (and by extension lou ortiz fans) kinda became booty buddies for a while

Fury has done F-all in years. The last time he fought a young game opponent was Wallin in 2019

He's coming off two back to back losses. Embarrassing the entire sport against an (old) novice coming off knee surgery. Getting the WBC to gift him a defence against another old guy he'd beat twice before...

The argument for Fury being #2, is no one has unseated him...hmm... Hard to do when he has he spent years not only swerving every prime contender but also picking and choosing easy style match ups. :maybe: Even Wilder looked on the slide during Ortiz 2 before Fury's landmark victory, if we're honest about it

Anyway, I feel like I'm kicking a lame dog at this point.

Merry Christmas to all!

Usyk #1
Fury #5 (edit: not#6- he should sit bove Joshua)
