Jordan Thompson

I was just looking at Jai Opetaia’s record and notice that Thompson hasn’t fought since being knocked out by Jai in September 2023, any news on Thompson?

It was at an empty Wembley arena.

I don't think so. It was before they were let in. It was a piss poor DAZN card.

I think Thompson had one fight, the big one, with Tony Sims and hasn't been seen since. I always thought he could be one of the silent ban boxers people on the inside were insisting on there being.

He’s active on X but only talks about Tennis and Basketball, doesn’t seem very boxing focused unless he’s one of those fighters who is interested in the sport against from their own fighting.

Wasn't his record good pre-Opetaia ?

No shame losing to the best in the division .

According to Wikipedia he played tennis as a kid and was seen as a bit of a prospect

He was out on his feet against Vasil Ducar and lucky to get through. Took a shellacking vs Jai. It's wise to hang them up before he gets brain damage, if he hasn't already.

I saw that I thought it was someone being silly editing it. That’s one epic role model
