And that's why he should consider calling it a day. He was seen as bombproof until Zhang set about him.stevec@france wrote: ↑17 Jan 2025, 08:22 its a warm up for the warm up for the warm up .............

If he won two on the bounce relatively convincingly, how much would he get in Saudi to fight Itauma?
Re: Joe Joyce v Patrick Korte
I really wouldn't want to see it , been a good servant to the game and made a few quid , hang em up Joe ! .Jimmy2025 wrote: ↑17 Jan 2025, 08:28And that's why he should consider calling it a day. He wants some of the Saudi money, can’t blame him, that’s why all these guys like Whyte hang around, it’s all about the money honey

and not really worth risking early onset of dementia or whatever the outcome tends to be of too many heavy blows to the head .
Look at all the ex rugby players now with serious health issues or early deaths
Re: Joe Joyce v Patrick Korte
Whoever he beats at a low level he is not an attraction anymore, just like David Price disappeared from serious contention after the 2 losses to Thompson
Re: Joe Joyce v Patrick Korte
What happened to the Yoka fight? Thought Frank signed Yoka to make the flight

I didnt watch the presser, but I saw somewhere on the socials that there was whispers of Joyce being fattened up for Okolie..
I worry for Joyce. I watched the Zhang KO again and that was a frightening bomb he took, plus all the rest of the considerable amount of punishment he has taken.

Yes the Zhang fights were brutal on the poor fella, but so was the Parker fight.
And yes I know Zhang is the heavy hitter compared to Parker, but the sheer volume of head shots Parker landed was sickening.
And it can be big shots that cause head trauma long term, but it can also be accumulated shots too.

Big fan of Joe. But worry for his health with the recent losses, fighting style and age.

I havent checked the boxrec.
i remember some boxers profiles on wikipedia as well, they've started changing the order on some of them too.
Re: Joe Joyce v Patrick Korte
Joyce needs to hang his gloves up
Re: Joe Joyce v Patrick Korte
Thought it would be binned as he has the other fight booked now, if this ends in defeat or a cut etc then that's done with thatRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑19 Feb 2025, 11:14It's still on.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑19 Feb 2025, 10:58 Is this still on? Re: Joe Joyce v Patrick Korte
This opponent is worse than Joyce's pro debut.
Presents very little risk, but at the same time anything can happen with a stray elbow or headbutt, and that's the Whyte fight screwed.
If he needs the confidence of beating Patrick Korte, he's in a bad place.

Re: Joe Joyce v Patrick Korte
Joe will want to test a few things he's been working on. Earlier in the topic I suggested he should consider hanging them up. Fighting Dillian is easy money, so I'm happy to say I was wrong. Cash in, Joe!

Re: Joe Joyce v Patrick Korte
This is so funny, Dillion Whyte teasing Joe Joyce about "buffering"
Re: Joe Joyce v Patrick Korte
I'm interested in seeing what Joyce weighs for this fight.
