Hi,
A couple years ago, the late Eric Guy was gonna send me footage he had of a couple of David Haye's amateur fights but he was going through depression and ill health, so never got around to it.
He did send me small snippets of the fights, Haye vs S. Whatley which Haye won on pts in Crystal Palace, Feb 3rd 1999 (I know the date thanks to the legendary Bob Yalen).
But the fight I have no date for and the name isn't even certain, is a double disqualification vs what sounds like 'John Smith' in the clip I've seen. Eric Guy said it happened in Milton Keynes in the schoolboy championships NABC semi finals and it definately happened somewhere between 1990-1995 as the DQ loss was mentioned by Haye before his bout vs Peter Haymer in 1995. I don't know what round it ended either. Any help finding this fight would be much appreciated. Eric said he was selling it to KOTV but they've not uploaded it so doubt he got around to it.
Thanks
Dawud

Anyone ever heard of this happening?
Re: David Haye double disqualification, Milton Keynes info needed
John Smith was a good heavy from Cardiff, Highfields ABC, didn't turn pro because he failed a brainscan
Early 90's is about right for his age being in the juniors
