Hector "Macho" Camacho was probably the island of Puerto Rico's most complete boxer ever. He could do it all at Jr lightweight and lightweight.
But, Carlos Ortiz would pressure him and make it a brawl. He was much more stronger than the Macho Man.
Macho had great speed of hands and feet. He would try to frustrate Ortiz with his lateral movement by sticking and moving. But, Ortiz would win and score big with his right hand leads.
Ortiz by decision. He is not stopping Camacho.

Was Camacho from Puerto Rico ? I always thought he was from Spanish Harlem in NY? Was he born there. Serious question. Just wondering.

I guess that he was born in Bronx, NY. His family is from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
