Why was never a rematch between Terry Norris vs Julian Jackson

Post by Rocky707 »

Why there was never a rematch between Terry Norris and Julian Jackson. Jackson move to middleweight but they could had fight at a catch weight maybe 156 pounds. I do still believe Julian would has ko Norris again maybe not that early but in 5 or 6 rounds.

There usually doesn't tend to be a lot of demand for a rematch with such an emphatic win, I'd agree though Norris most likely would've done better in a rematch. He'd almost have to.

This catch weight idea wasn't really prevalent in the 1990s.

Plus both men were with Don King, so why would he blow a lucrative fight for either man by having them lose?

In my view, "Terrible" Terry Norris never wanted a piece of Julian "The Hawk'" Jackson ever again. He never wanted a rematch. The Hawk hit too hard!
