I've given him some stick in the past for doing his Michelin man impression since his comeback. He was back at SuperBantam for his last fight (I think it was in February). Whilst I'm sure there is still some more pounds to lose, I'm glad he is going the right way at last - it is the lightest he has been since his return after 3 years out.
Whilst, I think he needs to be a Bantam at the heaviest - I do see him as a geniune player should he stick to Super Bantam, domestically.

I think he might have missed the boat; been out too long. The likes of Michael Hunter may walk all over him, which would be disappointing to see because if he had remained active and sharp the past few years he had the chance to be a dangerous boxer in those divisions (sub 9st). I suppose some may say he would never have amounted to much anyway without a KO punch, but I'm not totally convinced that would be the case. We'll never know since that part of his career is now lost.
As for his future prospects: I think the lighter he gets the more chance of success he'll have. Bantam would be a good target. BTW, have Noel Wilders and Peter Culshaw retired? I think I might remember Wilders announcing his retirement after his last fight. And I also remember Culshaw looking really dejected after that very sluggish performance versus the Russian last time out. Seemed like he was fighting through a fog at times.
Robinson - Power is going to be a cracker, has been brewing for months now...
