Marcos Maidana vs Pipino Cuevas

This is a mythical matchup that just popped into my head. How fun would this have been? Feels almost certain that somebody would get knocked out in this, and it feels almost certain that it would be an all out slugfest while it lasted.

Who comes out ahead? Chino or Pipino?

Great, fun fight. Cuevas was such a heavy hitter but Maidana was impossible to discourage. I would probably pick Maidana late TKO because he’d crowd and outwork Pipino and smother his long left hook that damaged so many opponents

I was leaning Maidana as well. Both could be hurt. Pipino was the bigger hitter, but Maidana I think was a little tougher so it might even out as far as them being able to damage each other. I can see Maidana beginning to get some of them overhand rights past Pipino's left hook attempts more and more as the fight goes and eventually breaking him down.

I could easily see both hitting the canvas in this fight.
